Chanhassen Attorney Suspended from Practice

Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility Files Motion

The Director of the Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility has filed a motion requesting the administrative suspension of William Thomas Anderson, an attorney licensed to practice law in Minnesota. The motion alleges that Anderson has engaged in conduct that violates the Minnesota Rules of Professional Conduct, including failing to communicate with clients, failing to safeguard client property, and engaging in dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation.

The suspension is effective immediately and will remain in effect until further order of the court. Anderson has the right to object to the suspension and request a hearing. If he does not object, the suspension will become permanent after 20 days.

Anderson's suspension is the latest in a series of disciplinary actions taken against Minnesota attorneys in recent years. The Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility has been cracking down on attorneys who violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, and has been suspending and disbarring more attorneys than ever before.

The suspension of William Thomas Anderson is a reminder to all attorneys that they must adhere to the highest ethical standards. Attorneys who violate the Rules of Professional Conduct will be held accountable for their actions.
